I have been a serious spiritual seeker for the past twenty five years. During that time I have continued to be fascinated with exploring what the traditional and timeless revelation of enlightenment has to do with living in the time and culture in which we live. I'm also fascinated by the possibility that this extraordinary state of consciousness could become a state of development and take the race to the beginnings of a new culture. I was involved with an American teacher for many years and have learned a great deal about the contemporary spiritual predicament and the ups and downs of being involved with a teacher. Currently I am seriously involved with Andrew Cohen as a spiritual teacher. I have known Andrew Cohen since 1994 and have been associated with him in a variety of capacities. In 2002 I left my former teacher, with whom I had been very closely associated for thirteen years, in order to dedicate myself more fully to Andrew's Evolutionary Enlightenment teachings. I currently live in Berkeley and am active in EnlightenNext's northern California group. I have a master's degree in international relations with a specialization in economics. I worked for eight years in the international shipping and transportation industry before starting a variety of small businesses, including my current business of dog training in the Bay Area. In this capacity I have written two books on dog training, am a court-certified expert on dog behavior, have appeared on numerous radio and television programs nationwide, and have lectured at conferences and seminars. I have also trained dogs for high-profile clients in the financial and entertainment worlds including Robin Williams, Sharon Stone, Charles Schwab, Linda Ronstadt, and many others. I am currently working on a book of my experience with Andrew Cohen's teachings entitled “The Quest for a Higher We: A Journey into Evolutionary Enlightenment.”
